I am Iqbal Khan, B.A (Hons) Music & Professional Practice, Coventry University, a Birmingham (UK)based singer, poet, composer and Music Teacher. Teaching harmonium and vocals for over 20 years
Core Competencies & Methodologies
Vocal & Instrument training, Instruct students in music theory, harmony, composition, music appreciation and provides individual or group vocal and instrumentsl lessons using technical knowledge, aesthetic appreciation, and prescribed teaching techniques.
Evaluates students interests, aptitudes, temperament and individual characteristics to determine suitable teaching plan for beginners.
Illustrates basic musical concepts (eg. time & Rhythm) for students through activities such as playing recorded music or playing an instrument in class accompanied by students design creative activities to allow students to experience different musical styles
